The standout result came when a filly out of Porthilly topped the entire sale at an extraordinary €1.1 million. The result represents a major boost for Diego Velazquez, as Porthilly is already confirmed in foal to him for 2026. To have the sale-topper produced by a mare carrying his next foal is a tremendous endorsement of the calibre of mares being sent to the son of Frankel.

Another significant update came courtesy of An Ghalanta, whose daughter sold for an impressive €625,000. Further enhancing the pedigree page, An Ghalanta’s daughter Miaharris was covered by Diego Velazquez this spring, adding further depth and quality to his expanding book of mares.

There was also an important boost for Neverland, whose Flightline colt realised €350,000 during the sale. Neverland was purchased specifically for Diego Velazquez at last year’s Tattersalls December Mares Sale, and this result provides an immediate and highly encouraging update to one of the mares secured to support his stud career.
