At Sam Sangster Bloodstock, we offer a full suite of services to support every stage of your racehorse ownership journey—from sourcing elite bloodstock to managing your investment with expertise and care.
Purchasing
We provide a service for all clients and cover all European and international sales, and private sales. Our main market for sourcing horses is at the yearling sales, mainly in Europe - auction houses such as Tattersalls, Arqana, Goffs and BBAG. Sam is in attendance of all these sales and would welcome any new client, should they wish for advice when purchasing.
Racing
Sam's main strength within this industry is his knowledge of the sport as a whole, from buying the horses to getting them to the track and picking the right races for them.

Syndication
Syndicates are the heartbeat of modern racing. One of the most important lessons I took from my time in Australia is how syndication makes the sport truly accessible. It allows people from all walks of life to experience the thrill of ownership – whether their ambition is to race at the highest level, enjoy memorable days at the track with friends, or be part of a community of like-minded enthusiasts.
Our syndicates have taken clients all over the world with just one horse – from the glamour of Ascot and Deauville to the excitement of Santa Anita and Meydan.
Within our syndicates we are always mindful of the costs associated with having horses in training. One of the key things we find is knowing when to exit at the right time, whether that be privately or through the horses-in-training sales.
For us, ownership is about more than just racing – it’s about the connections you make. Whether at the races, on the gallops, or at one of our open days and hospitality events, our syndicate members become part of a close-knit community, sharing in the excitement and joy that only racing can bring.

Breeding
We offer a range of skills to assist you with managing your bloodstock portfolio.
Stallion Matings: Hands on approach to assist you in your matings of your mares, working with your budget to produce the best options to upgrade your mare.
Building Broodmare Bands: Management and development of your broodmares for a commercial operation or owner breeder.
We also have our own breeding funds for which anyone can be involved please get in touch should this be of interest.
